  1. Thanks for a PROFESSIONAL video on this task! I hate 12 minute videos with 5 minutes of USABLE content! Bookmarked as I will want to review this video at least a few more times. Total novice with so much to learn but I’m motivated!

    1. +Sandra Jeffrey Thanks Sandra! Glad I can help.

    2. Sandra Jeffrey i agree. those videos you’re like hey a little less talky and a bit more worky lol

    3. Amen! I hate 12 minute videos that easily could be condensed into 2 or 3. Awesome Steve!!!

  2. Ok, Ive watched a bunch of videos and Im lost. Around 6:46 Steve you talk about making sure the screw is pointed into the length of the wood, not towards the end. Makes perfect sense. But saw Im building a drawer frame or similar, is there a way to keep the pocket holes on the inside?

    1. Sometimes you can’t avoid pocket holes in visible locations. The only solution is to plug the holes. Or use a different form of joinery.

  3. Good job explaining as always.

  4. Great, I don’t need to buy additional impact driver:) I thought my drill is useless, glad I saw this video.

  5. I like the idea of catching the saw dust. plus there’s a way to make mosquito repellent using sawdust and coffee. have you tried this? thanks

  6. Grand Master Craft

    great video

  7. Awesome video! I now have no doubt about using a Kreg jig. Very Imformative! Thanks!!

  8. I think you need your thyroid checked bro

  9. This video was perfect

  11. Great video, never used a jointing jig and this was very informative. Thank you.

  12. saved my day man thanks! Building my daughter a bed…

  13. Incredibly helpful and user/beginner friendly video! Thanks a million!

  14. 217 dislikes? How is that possible. Great video.

  15. William R. Minter Jr.

I’m a big Kreg fan, love your Kreg videos.👍🏻

  16. Excellent explanations. I am a fan.

  17. To make these joints even stronger, coat the screws with a slow drying epoxy glue.

  18. Guess I should have watched this video before I got started. I was building a box with 3/4″ plywood. I used an impact gun to drive the screws and pull the wood together in some places. It wasn’t till after I was done that I realized several of the screw tips barely made it in too deep and stuck out the other side. 🙁

  19. Tip- a woodworker who did a lot of mortice and tenon joints, said that glues like titebond and crack if the joint is accidently hit really hard (specifically the long support rails for a wood table), but gorilla flexes when it gets a shock. He also said to wet the wood because water gets gorilla glue working? Not sure, take it for what it’s worth. Thanks Scotty!

  20. Great video. I appreciate your input. Explains the product very well. 🙂

Going to get mine today. 🙂
